Our Mission

The Sisters of St. Paul's Monastery are a community who live the Rule of St. Benedict based on Gospel values. Through our liturgical life and wise stewardship, we create sacred space from which we respond to the needs and challenges of Church and society.

About Us 

As St. Benedict urges in Chapter 53 of his Holy Rule, the Sisters of St. Paul's Monastery welcome all as Christ. The Sisters and those in close relationship with us—Benedictine Associates, Oblates, and friends—unite in prayer and service of God.  With the support of people like you, the Sisters of St. Benedict of St. Paul's Monastery have educated countless students, served in parishes and homes, welcomed all as Christ at the Monastery and wherever we have served, and shared our Monastic heritage through retreats and programs at our Benedictine Center. 

St. Benedict and St. Scholastica are our models of a dedicated way to live the Gospel and we welcome others to support us in our mission. Your tax-deductible contribution supports our Sisters and sustains our ministries by providing sacred spaces where all are welcomed as Christ for prayer, retreats, spiritual renewal, art exhibits, and the beauty of creation. Your donations advocate for children, young adults, families, and marginalized individuals. Ultimately, your donations allow us to share Benedictine Values, the Joy of the Gospel, and prayer for all God’s people.
