Technology at St. John the Baptist Catholic School

St. John the Baptist Catholic School - located in New Brighton, MN - is raising money to purchase new technology items for our teachers as well as repair several Chromebooks for our students. 

Teacher Needs

As technology wears out over time, we have many items to replace such as computer speakers and wireless mice. 

As technology continues to evolve, our teachers are looking for new items such as wireless presentation clickers, TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers) resources, document cameras, and more. 

Student Needs

Funds raised from our past Wines to Wishes galas allowed us to purchase brand new laptops for all teachers and staff this fall - we are so grateful to all those who contributed to make this goal come to fruition. Due to such a large purchase, we chose to keep our student Chromebooks for one more year. 

Devices are beginning to fail due to their age, and we need to send them in for repair so that we can make it until June when we will begin a new lease. Having working devices is imperative for our students who use them for classroom activities and to complete homework. Money raised from Give to the Max will allow us to repair the non-working devices so that we have back-ups when others begin to fail. 

** Currently, each family pays a yearly technology fee that covers the cost of leasing the Chromebooks and iPads that our students use as well as the cost of various subscriptions that assist with supplementing instruction. These funds DO NOT cover the technology needs mentioned above. **

We are hoping for your support on Give to the Max Day, November 21st, 2024, to put funds towards our goal.
