Exactly 615 days ago, on March 13, 2020, Stages Theatre Company's main stage went dark. We had no idea how the pandemic would unravel not did we know that it would be 20 months before we could use our main stage again. But we were certain of one thing: closing our doors was not in line with our mission.
So, backed by supporters like you who believed in us, we got really creative!
We held education classes on Zoom and in parks. We moved our performances to parks, city sidewalks, online, and even a little patch of grass just behind our building. We knew that young people and their families needed the social and emotional support that theatre and theatre education can offer.
TONIGHT WE WILL RE-OPEN THE DOORS TO OUR MAIN STAGE with a preview of Elf the Musical, JR.
We would not be where we are today without the support of our donors and community. Thank you for believing in Stages Theatre Company during this time of uncertainty. We look forward to seeing you soon and are so grateful for your financial support on this incredible day of giving in Minnesota!
