At St. Felix Catholic School, our playground is more than just a place for students to play — it’s a space for friendships to grow, imaginations to soar, and faith-filled community to flourish. Every day, our children laugh, learn, and live out the joy of being part of a caring school family.

To keep our students safe and our playground secure, we began the Playground Fence Project this fall. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families, parishioners, and community supporters, we’ve already raised $15,000 toward our goal of $28,000 — and the new fence installation is underway!

We’re now asking for your help to bring this project to completion. Your donation will help cover the remaining costs of materials and installation, ensuring our playground remains a safe, welcoming, and beautiful space for years to come.

What Makes St. Felix Catholic School Unique

Faith: At St. Felix Catholic School, faith is woven into every part of our day. We begin each morning together as a school community, hearing God’s Word and praying as one. Students attend weekly Mass, and we celebrate our faith through the Rosary, Stations of the Cross, and Adoration throughout the year. Father Frerichs visits classrooms weekly, helping students connect their learning and their lives to Christ’s teachings. Service is also central to who we are—our students participate in community service projects that bring faith into action.

Academics: We strive for excellence in all academic areas, continually updating our curriculum with the best research-based practices to meet the needs of every learner. Alongside our core subjects, students enjoy enrichment courses such as Spanish, music, liturgical music, band, art, physical education, and technology—helping each child grow in mind, body, and spirit.

Technology: In a world of rapid change, we equip our students with the tools and skills to thrive. Classrooms are equipped with SMART Boards and Chromebooks that support interactive learning. Teachers use a variety of online programs to challenge and assess academic growth. Our technology curriculum includes typing, digital citizenship, internet safety, and responsible computer use—preparing students to use technology with confidence and integrity.

God’s Kids Program: Our God’s Kids program provides convenient, faith-filled care beyond the school day. It serves families needing after-school care during the year, as well as all-day childcare on non-school days, early releases, late starts, snow days, and throughout the summer months.

Preschool & Pre-Kindergarten: St. Felix offers both half-day and full-day preschool and pre-kindergarten options to give children a strong start academically, socially, morally, and spiritually. These early learning experiences help children grow in faith, confidence, and curiosity—preparing them for a lifelong love of learning.
