ÒGrowing in Faith, Rooted in TraditionÓ For over 118 years, Saint BernardÕs School has stood as a beacon of solid Catholic education in the North End community of St. Paul. In 1890, Saint BernardÕs Parish was founded by German immigrants who had moved into the North End. In 1891 Sisters of the Benedictine Order founded the grade school and in 1957 opened the high school. "International Baccalaureate Candidate School" Saint Bernard's is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. We are pursuing authorization as an IB World School. These are schools that share a common philosophy -- a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that Saint Bernard's believes is important for our students.
