Throughout the past year, our programs never missed a beat or a day of service. In fact, we have continuously met the moment, changing up the status quo to show up for our neighbors in new ways.
The pandemic has shined a light on how taxed the homeless and hunger response system is. We know the individuals and families we serve are hit the hardest in times of crisis and we’re anticipating a long recovery period ahead.
Thank you for joining us in this new phase as we “spring forward” together.
With your support, we will be able to serve more people and provide a more comprehensive continuum of services - from outreach, to shelter, food, treatment and mental health services, and ultimately, housing.
In our first year as a merged organization, we aspire to serve more than 8,000 neighbors.
You can help provide the critically-needed resources for our next chapter. Your gift to House of Charity and St. Stephen’s will:
Thank you for supporting our shared mission of ending homelessness and hunger in Minneapolis.
As of January 1, 2021, St. Stephen’s Human Services and House of Charity have merged. We are still using both names for now, but will have a new look and new organization name later this year.
