St. Paul's-San Pablo Lutheran Church

Every dollar helps us build on what we’ve achieved in our 136th year of ministry in South Minneapolis.

We opened our doors to a wide range of community partners, from the Phillips Neighborhood Clinic to "Corazon de Plata" a family reunification program that reunites parents in Mexico with their adult children in the U.S., and welcomed Barebones Productions for this year's community puppet build.

We celebrated our distinctive Latine traditions like posadas and Día de los Muertos and honored our heritage at the American Swedish Institute through a presentation titled, "Many Immigrants, One Church: The Story of St. Paul's Lutheran Church."

We supported the work of the Semilla Center for Healing and the Arts and the St. Paul's Home Apartments in our neighborhood and developed Latine leaders in our church.

We give thanks for the joy with which the congregation and our partners have embraced what the Spirit is doing through St. Paul’s–San Pablo. Where the world draws dividing lines of culture, language, and life story, our members worship and work together to share Christ’s love.

Like trees planted by the water, we are growing strong by faith in God’s grace. Now is the time to spread our branches and bear fruit! ¡Gracias a Dios! Thanks be to God!

Cada dólar nos ayuda a construir sobre lo que ya hemos logrado en 135 años de ministerio en el sur de Minneapolis.

Le abrimos nuestras puertas a diferentes organizaciones comunitarias, desde Phillips Neighborhood Clinic hasta Corazon de plata, un programa de reunificacion, y le dimos la bienvenida a Barebones Productions para sus talleres comunitarios de títeres.

Celebramos nuestras distintivas tradiciones latinas como posadas y el Día de los Muertos y honramos nuestra herencia en el Instituto Sueco Americano a través de una presentación titulada "Muchos inmigrantes, una iglesia: la historia de la Iglesia Luterana de San Pablo."

Apoyamos el trabajo del Semilla Center y St. Paul's Home Apartments en nuestro vecindario y desarrollamos líderes latin@s en nuestra iglesia. 

Damos gracias que con alegría la congregación y la comunidad se han acogido a lo que Dios está haciendo a través de St. Paul's–San Pablo. Aunque el mundo intenta crear líneas de división por nuestra cultura, idioma e historia de vida, nuestros miembros adoran y trabajan juntos para compartir el amor de Cristo. 

Como árboles plantados junto al agua, crecemos fuertes en nuestra fe en la gracia de Dios. ¡Ahora es el momento de extender nuestras ramas y dar fruto! ¡Gracias a Dios! Thanks be to God!
