Spectrum Connections is committed to ensuring that those on the autism spectrum reach their fullest potential in professional growth, financial compensation, and social communication skills.

Spectrum Connections provides key services for transition-age youth on the spectrum who need instructional support to successfully navigate the transition from school to adult independence.

In the next 10 years, 500,000 adults on the spectrum will age into adulthood. Yet 85% of college graduates on the spectrum are unemployed, compared to the national unemployment rate of 4.5%.

Services offered by Spectrum Connections make a difference to people like John, a young adult who remained unemployed even though he'd been diligently searching for a job as a software programmer since he graduated from college with a computer science degree.  For John, every part of a job search is a major obstacle. He struggles with networking and finding good job leads.  He's especially unnerved by job interviews.   He seems unapproachable to potential employers because he tends to avoid eye contact and he visibly struggles to answer interview questions.

Spectrum Connections services include customized life skill lessons to build self-advocacy, interview, and conversation skills, as well as, coaching support for students navigating post-secondary degree programs.

Donations made to Spectrum Connections will go towards providing services to improve the lives of young autistic adults.

Thank you for helping us achieve our mission of supporting and facilitating self-awareness, self-advocacy, and self-acceptance for autistic young adults.
