Spanish Education Fund

Support the Eden Prairie Spanish Immersion program to host volunteer international Spanish speaking interns.

The Spanish Education Fund is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization run by immersion parent volunteers.  The SEF raises the funds necessary to sponsor Spanish speaking interns from all over the world to assist in Spanish immersion classrooms at Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion School (K-6), Central Middle School (7-8) and Eden Prairie High School (9-12) in our International Teaching Intern Program located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

Interns are an important educational resource in immersion education. They model Spanish conversation with teachers and students, they share their culture, they help students in small groups with reading and writing, and they are an extra adult in the classroom since parents cannot volunteer in the classrooms unless they speak fluent Spanish. 

The Spanish Education Fund's mission is to support the Eden Prairie Spanish immersion program, through sustainable funding, to host the best volunteer international Spanish speaking interns and provide other educational and cultural resources. Help support this valuable educational resource!
