Southwestern Minnesota Synod, ELCA

In the Southwestern Minnesota Synod of the ELCA, faith is nurtured, God’s love is made known, welcome is extended, and belonging is deeply felt. Synod staff and leaders walk alongside our ministers and 223 congregations, offering support, guidance, and encouragement. Each context is unique, because if you’ve seen one Lutheran church, you’ve seen one congregation. Each one reflects God’s mission in its own beautiful way in this southwestern quadrant of our state. Together, from cities, open country, small towns – and everything in-between – we all do God’s work with our hands every day. All of this reflects the purpose of our synod ministry.

We know that the future of our synod's financial strength depends on multiple streams of support.
