As a Member stated "Living with mental illness is best done among friends."  A Place For Hope is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 serving the needs of adults living with mental illness in Clay County Minnesota.  Our mission is to provide a safe, enriching and supportive recovery environment for adults living with a serious and persistent mental illness or serious mental illness to build social relationships, promote peer mentoring, improve health outcomes and provide educational opportunities to lead a successful integrated life in the community.   

Mental illness affects 1 in 4 Americans, it is an illness that often leads to isolation and withdrawal from society.  Our goals are to: improve mental health, build friendships, encourage recreation, enhance support and instill hope with our members.  We are dedicated to giving our members a place to belong, grow and share what they have to offer with others.  We look to our community both local and worldwide to help build the support our members need to get through each day.
