Our Cause is Community

In St. Anthony Park, we are fortunate to be part of a thoughtful, caring neighborhood filled with engaged and passionate neighbors. For nearly 50 years, the St. Anthony Park Community Council (SAPCC) has brought residents, businesses, and community partners together to strengthen the quality of life across North and South SAP and make sure everyone has a voice in shaping our shared future.

This year, that work showed up all across the neighborhood. Neighbors joined us for community forums on the future of the Luther Seminary Lower Campus, clean-ups at Kasota Ponds, renter resource events, the Westgate Commons Summer Program, community meals at Seal Hi-Rise and the Legends at Berry, the Hampden Park Ice Cream Social, and our Annual Meeting that highlighted local leadership and community engagement. These moments happened because neighbors invested in the Council and believed in the value of community-led work.

Through the dedication of our volunteers, committees, and staff, SAPCC continues to protect greenspaces, support responsible development, improve pedestrian and bike connections, expand renter outreach, and bring people together for conversations that strengthen trust and belonging. This is the quiet, everyday work that holds neighborhoods together.

As we enter our 50th anniversary year, we are building on this momentum with new initiatives focused on greenspaces, clean streets, wayfinding, renter resources, and our home energy course. Our updated website will make it easier for neighbors to find events, volunteer opportunities, and committee meetings, helping more people get involved in shaping the future of our community.

We rely on neighbors like you to support this work. Your contribution today helps us engage a wider and more diverse cross-section of the community, respond to local needs, and maintain the resources needed to do this work well. Every gift makes a difference in what we are able to offer the neighborhood.

Thank you for helping strengthen and sustain St. Anthony Park!
