River Valley Project Explore Foundation

The River Valley Project Explore Foundation was established in 2009 as a 501 (c) (3) non profit for the sole purpose of raising additional funds to support a program called River Valley Project Explore. 

Project Explore is a community education program that has been providing social, enrichment and recreational programming since 1990 for adults with developmental, sensory, cognitive and physical disabilities. The program is a leader in offering classes and activities specifically designed and adapted to individual abilities. Project Explore's classes and activities are designed to enhance community involvement and promote lifelong learning.

Project Explore activities include pickle ball, cooking classes, lunch meet-ups, hikes and walks, dances, baseball games, line dance classes, yoga, karaoke, book club, theater outings, and more! The complete catalog can be found here.

Project Explore is a consortium, supported by the community departments of Burnsville, Farmington, Lakeville, Randolph and Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan public school districts.
