$2,000 Goal

Royal Guard Performing Arts seeks to foster a positive experience for all who participate by promoting education, creativity, and freedom of expression through the unification of the marching arts industry, music education, and the performing arts.

Our performance ensemble, Royal Guard Winter Color Guard is open to adults of all ages who want to experience this unique performance activity while also building a special community.

We are the only organization in Minnesota currently providing winter color guard programming for this age group. We are inspired to offer this experience to passionate members and staff who wish to create this unique and supportive community.

This activity provides a positive, inclusive and safe environment for members to grow as performers, develop leadership skills, and create meaningful relationships.  We also provide education to help members become better teachers, designers and administrators to help grow the marching arts in our community.

Many of our members have been positively impacted by this activity and are now "giving back" by teaching youth marching & performing arts groups.  This provides opportunities for our members and also helps address the need for more marching arts staff and leaders in our state.

Goals & Needs

Our 2025 Give to the Max Campaign goal is $2,000 Donations will be used to directly support our winter color guard's programming and educational needs.

As the organization continues to grow, so do our expenses.  Rising costs of equipment, facility rental fees, performance fees and programming requirements have created additional financial needs.

We strive to provide strong, educationally based programming that is financially accessible to all who wish to participate.

Although we sponsor a variety of fundraising events throughout the year, we also rely on donations and matching gifts from generous supporters and donors to help support programming and keep member costs as reasonable as possible.

Our History

Royal Guard Performing Arts was formed in the spring of 2019, and our first project was to start a Winter Color Guard for youth and young adults.  The group came together and performed and competed as an Independent A Class Winter Guard from 2020-2023 and was inactive in 2024.  During this pause, we discovered a void that needed to be filled and moved forward with the Adult All Age Ensemble.

We have been working diligently to lay the foundation for a new fresh organization that will once again be able to offer life-changing experiences for people of all ages.  We are asking for your support in continuing to make this vision a reality.

Royal Guard Performing Arts provides an outlet for participants to express themselves, build self-esteem, and build leadership and organizational skills.  The group builds a foundation for all people to achieve success as they purse education, business, and career opportunities.  It fosters community involvement and civic accountability through the expectations of self-management, team management, and personal growth.

With Gratitude!
