The Rochester Male Chorus, organized in 1930, consists of 20+ men who love to sing. We come from all over southeastern Minnesota, and our ages span over sixty years.
We practice once a week, except in the summer, and give several performances during the year, primarily at Christmas and in mid-spring. (You need not read music to be a member, you only need to love to sing.)
The mission of the Rochester Male Chorus is to entertain, uplift and foster community connections through a commitment to high standards of choral exercise. Believing that music is a universal language that transcends human differences, the Chorus expresses its members' unique talents and individuality to create an artistic experience that connects the integrity of the music, the director, the audiences and one another.
