Richfield-Bloomington (MN) Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.: Guide Right Program with a focus on Kappa League and Scholarships.

The Guide Right program is Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.’s signature youth development initiative. It emphasizes mentorship, education, and personal development to help at-risk and college-bound youth achieve academic and social
success. For the Richfield-Bloomington, MN Chapter, the program centers on the Kappa League and scholarship-focused activities designed to prepare young men for success in higher education , vocational  and beyond.

Program Overview:
Mission:To provide mentoring, tutoring, and leadership development to young men in the Twin Cities metro area, with an emphasis on academic achievement, character development and community service.
Target Participants: Typically middle and  high school-aged males (and who have intrest in higher education.
Core Components:
  Academic tutoring and study skills
  College readiness and FAFSA/financial aid guidance
  Leadership development and life skills training
  Career exploration and exposure to professionals.
  Community service and civic engagement
  Mentorship from fraternity brothers and role models

Kappa League: Structure and Activities
Structure
Mentors: Kappa Alpha Psi brothers serve as mentors, role models, and guides.
Mentee Groups: Participants are organized into cohorts (often by school or grade level) to build camaraderie and accountability.
Meetings: Regular sessions bi-weekly that combine academic support  with personal development activities.
Goals & Milestones:
 Clear academic and personal development goals, tracked over the program year.

Academic Support:
 Homework help, tutoring, and study sessions, with a focus on core subjects (math, science, English, etc.) and AP/IB coursework.
