Keys for Kids

Keys for Kids was founded to help others give back to the community, by recycling keys. 

Keys for Kids is a 501(c)(3) registered nonprofit organization operated by volunteers dedicated to inspiring youth through recycling keys and community involvement. Since 2011, Keys for Kids volunteers have collected, sorted, and recycled/upcycled 5,240 pounds of keys and fobs.   These keys and fobs have been donated from individuals, businesses, organizations, youth groups, and schools across the United States, Canada, and Australia. 

Please consider a tax deductible donation. All monetary donations support Keys for Kids community activities.  Our goal is to earn $2,500 in donations during Give to the Max MN 2023.  This will cover the rental space for Keys for Kids first annual Children's Business Fair in Fall of 2024.  Kids develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace. 

Community Involvement: Keys for Kids volunteers host various fun raising events involving the community; all at no cost to children and their families. Keys for Kids participates in tickets for kids programs allowing us to share the joy of a day at the game. We have shared hundreds of game tickets donated by the Lynx & Timberwolves Foundation and TwinsCare to families and children that may not otherwise have this opportunity.
