Twin Cities R.O.C.K. (Raising Our Celiac Kids) provides

support to families who have children with celiac disease 

A diagnosis of celiac disease can be frightening and bewildering, but the remedy always includes a strict gluten-free diet (no wheat, barley, rye and often times, oats). It’s not as simple as just reading labels. Gluten can hide in micro ingredients. Finding medications is also challenging as it is difficult to verify if they are gluten free. It can feel overwhelming.  New families need help. We offer that assistance.

Gluten Free Fun Camp is filled with games and adventures where campers have participated in such events as ROCK's Got Talent, Dance Party, Capture the Flag, a chocolate fountain, Nature Club, Art Club, ZooBreak, Camp-out, Bonfires, and much more. Gluten Free Fun Camp includes delicious gluten free meals prepared with love by our amazing camp cooks and many awesome camp counselors!

State Fair Booth: ROCK sponsors a State Fair booth in the HealthFair 11 building where volunteers provide information about celiac disease. As part of this effort, ROCK creates the Gluten Free at the Fair list, identifying as many food vendors as possible with gluten free options. We commonly have around 10,000 visitors come through the ROCK booth which is completely staffed by ROCK volunteers.

The ROCK web site includes links to information about celiac disease, diagnosis,  gluten-free candy lists, gluten free food lists, navigating school for celiacs, 504 plans, gluten free fun camp, connection to mentors, and links to other invaluable information for families with celiac disease.

ROCK creates experiences for celiac kids to be kids, and enjoy activities with safe gluten free foods like Gluten Free Fun Camp, a Swim Party,  Summer Picnic, Holiday Cookie Exchange, State Fair Experience, and more.
