Project Success

Fostering Belonging, Confidence, and Connection

When students feel like they belong, they show up differently—with more confidence, more curiosity, and more willingness to dream big. For more than 30 years, Project Success has created the conditions for that to happen through opportunities of excellence, like transformational workshops, trips to the theater, wilderness adventures, and classes in life- and career-skills. This year, we aim to raise $50,000 toward continuing these programs for 17,000+ students across Minneapolis and Mankato. Together, we can help young people connect to their purpose—and to each other.

Our Approach

Middle and high school students face constant pressure about who they should be and what path they should follow. At Project Success, we start from a different belief: young people already have everything they need to build meaningful lives and connect to their purpose. Our role is to provide the experiences, support, and space for them to discover it. Through theater, nature, and hands-on learning, students explore their interests, build skills, and form genuine community with peers who encourage each other's dreams. When young people connect with others who see and support them for who they truly are, they don't just imagine their futures—they start building them together. Your gift creates those experiences and makes that sense of belonging possible for thousands of students.

Gifts of any amount bring these opportunities to life

$50 - Sends one student on a college or career tour and workshop

$500 - Funds one student for 10 weeks of Institute Certificate programming

$5,000 - Sends seven students on a week long trip to the Boundary Waters
