Project HOPE

Since 1958, Project HOPE has provided health care and lifesaving health education to people around the globe.

Founded in 1958, Project HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere) is dedicated to providing lasting
solutions to health problems with the mission of helping people to help themselves. Identifiable to many by the SS HOPE, the world’s first peacetime hospital ship, Project HOPE now provides medical training and health education,
as well as conducts humanitarian assistance programs in more than 35 countries. Our work focuses on Women's
and Children's Health, Infectious Disease, Noncommunicable Disease, Health System Strengthening and Disaster Relief and Humanitarian Assistance.  We accomplish our work through educating health professionals and community health workers, and providing donated medicines, medical supplies and volunteer medical help when needed.
