Project DIVA International Guides Girls Towards Their Results!

Project DIVA International serves middle and high school Black girls within Minneapolis–St. Paul and the surrounding suburbs, ages 11-19, of a variety of economic statuses and backgrounds. The majority of our girls are economically challenged and benefit from our intensive coaching. 

Since 2007, our organization has developed a proven method for girls, their parents and our community supporters to thrive. 

Our expert leadership team focuses on peer to peer, group and individual year-long coaching. We have touched over 5000 girls through our workshops, school clubs and elite cohort developing personal relationships that are having a long-term impact.  

Donors like you have supported our high impact programming.  Through three (3) core academies, three (3) advanced academies, two (2) clubs and a hands-on, one-on-one wrap-around services we are able to annually move a girl towards her vision of high school graduation and beyond. 

Together, we are providing an opportunity for girls to receive habit developing skill sets that they are able to use in real time in middle and high school. 

Our Results:

•  Less than a 1% teen pregnancy rate
• 100% increase in economic literacy & financial management
• 99% graduation rate 
• 93% change in eating and physical movement decisions
• 85% improvement in emotional management
