Project DIVA International primarily serves middle and high school Black girls within MinneapolisâSt. Paul and the surrounding suburbs, ages 11-19, of a variety of economic statuses and backgrounds. The majority of our girls are low-income and benefit from the intensive coaching from a community that is of women who relate to their economic statuses and backgrounds. These women are modeling success and behaviors that align with the changing climate of our time in history.
Since 2007, our organization has developed a proven method for girls, their parents and our community supporters to thrive. Â Part of our method is through a process of expanding our girls knowing in a few ways:
Our leadership team focuses on peer to peer, group and individual year-long coaching with the leadership of professionals from all walks of life to develop personal relationships and long-term impact. Â
We have identified high impact programming through three (3) core academies, three (3) advanced academies, two (2) clubs and two (2) hands-on wrap-around services. Project DIVA International is providing an opportunity for girls to receive habit developing skill sets that they are able to use in real time in middle and high school.Â
