We are a 100% donor-supported and volunteer-led nonprofit organization advocating historic preservation in Minneapolis.
We fulfill our mission by:
Hosting summer history walking tours of prominent and lesser-known historic buildings and spaces in Minneapolis. This is our most popular offering.
Convening winter history lectures featuring academic experts on a variety of architecture and preservation topics.
Advocating for individual preservation efforts in cooperation with community groups, homeowners, and others.
Creating digital resources, such as our free Minneapolis Historical self-guided online walking tours.
We rarely ask for support, but we can't do it alone.
