PFund Foundation

At PFund Foundation, we believe that every LGBTQ+ person deserves to live authentically, without barriers or discrimination. As a community foundation, we don’t just fund programs—we build lasting change, rooted in love, equity, and empowerment.

Thirty eight years ago PFund Foundation was founded in response to an existential crisis, our gay brothers were left to die in a prejudicial pandemic, and because critical institutions would not respond with the resources we needed.

We learned our lesson, and this time around we’ve built the infrastructure to take care of our own. For close to forty years the PFund Foundation has grown and invested in our queer communities across the upper Midwest. We serve LGBTQI+ non-profits and scholars in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, South and North Dakota.
