A Life-Changing Bond Starts Here 🐾
|
At Pawsitive Perspectives Assistance Dogs (PawPADs), we train and place dogs that transform lives. Some become service dogs, offering mobility support or alerting to blood glucose changes for individuals with Type 1 Diabetes. Others serve as facility dogs, enriching the daily lives of others—helping students learn, joining seniors in activities, or bringing comfort to survivors of trauma. |
| Many of our dogs have been trained through experiential programming, in which participants—which have included youth, veterans, college students, and incarcerated individuals—build life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication by working closely with the dogs. The lessons learned extend beyond the program, creating a ripple effect that benefits families, communities, and the lives the dogs will go on to touch. |

Help Us Meet our Match 💓
|
Between now and Give to the Max Day on November 20th, we need to raise $20,000 to train more Service and Facility Dogs. And thanks to a generous pool of matching funds, provided by Abby Peterson, the Ardolf-Diehl Family, and the St. Paul & Minnesota Foundation, your donation will be doubled until we reach our goal. |
What Your Donation Can Do 💌
Training and placing a single service or facility dog costs an average of $35,000, covering veterinary care, food, enrichment, training staff, and facility upkeep, and more. Every gift makes a real difference:
