A Legacy Worth Saving
Park Square and SteppingStone Theatres have 80 years of combined service. Together, they have introduced nearly ONE MILLION young people to theatre, with a robust education program that reaches every corner of the state and beyond. Our adult productions have reached over ONE MILLION audience members. Here, you can be a theatergoer and artist from age 3 to 103.
Park Square adds vibrancy to downtown Saint Paul-bringing literary classics to life, telling stories from underrepresented communities, and bringing new work to the stage. SteppingStone programs have introduced thousands of young artists to the life skills that theatre can teach. Our youth programs are centered on giving young people agency to be artists in their own lives and to comment on the world around them.
Emergency Funding is needed by June 1
The realities of reopening after COVID have put the theatres in immediate danger of closing permanently. We are at a critical time and the life of these organizations is on the line. Due to lower than expected ticket sales and higher than anticipated production and operations costs Park Square had to cancel several productions this season. We must secure our emergency goal of $540,000 (we reached 75% of the goal by May). We are looking to you to help save Park Square and SteppingStone, securing our future, and sustaining us for years to come.
Can we count on your support? Please consider making a charitable contribution to support your theatre for life.
You are not alone! Today’s gift helps meet a $100,000 challenge gift made by leading donors!
