The energy of friends like you is turning the lights back on at Park Square.

When the stages went to black at the end of April, we left the ghost light* on for your return. Youth summer camps continued at full speed to inspire future generation of theatre artists and fans. 

Behind the scenes, Park Square's board of directors has been working tirelessly toward reopening with a sustainable business model.

• Friends like you generously gave more than $500,000 to regain solvency. 
• The Hamm Building doubled down on their commitment as a home for artists and audiences with an extraordinary reduction in rent.
• The Night for Park Square benefit at the home of Dick and Nancy Nicholson re-ignited confidence.
• Now, Stephen DiMenna has been appointed interim executive artistic director, bringing his amazing skills and genuine heart to a 48-year legacy of the plays you want to see with the artists you love in downtown Saint Paul.

With your help, the lights will come back up in Dec for the kick-off of a new "Live at the Square" cabaret series.

 Because of you, youth programs will resume in 2024.

Your support means that month by month, Park Square will make progress to relaunching full stage productions with Jeffrey Hatcher's world premier mystery Holmes & Poirot.
