Pacem in Terris Hermitage Retreat Center

People's lives are fractured by the noise and stress of life. Pacem in Terris Hermitage Retreat Center fosters peace, one soul at a time. Pacem provides a sacred, peaceful environment where individuals can come be alone with God in the silence and solitude of a beautiful prayer cabin. Set on a 240-acre campus that includes Minnesota forest, a wilderness lake, wetlands, and native prairie, the grounds feature 3 miles of walking trails and two boardwalks on Lake Tamarack. Guests come to experience holy rest so that they can be whole in body, mind and spirit.

Pacem was devastated by August 26, 2024's storms. 85 mph straight-line winds littered Pacem's grounds, roads, and trails with hundreds of trees. The storms damaged 15 of Pacem's buildings. Through Pacem's Disaster Relief campaign you can participate in Pacem's restoration and rebuilding efforts. Donations to the campaign directly fund Pacem's clean-up and recovery.
