Operation Warm Inc

Every $25 donated will directly provide a brand-new coat or brand-new pair of shoes to an underserved child living in Pennsylvania. 

Operation Warm was founded in 1998 when the Founder and current Chief Executive Officer, Richard Sanford, witnessed children waiting outside for the local school bus without proper winter clothing. He then gifted his first 58 coats - all that he could find at a local store - to children at a nearby elementary school. Since then, Operation Warm has gifted over 7 million personally designed and newly manufactured high­ quality coats, as well as athletic-style shoes with new socks, to children in need.

Annually, we design, source, and manufacture our own coats and shoes to ensure that they are high quality, in style, and available at a low cost. Operation Warm coats are made with durable materials in a variety of stylish colors and styles that change annually. Our machine washable shoes come in six child-friendly colors and 12 sizes for kids in preschool through the fifth grade. 

Our model programs for gifting coats and shoes to children include collaborations with high need schools, community-based organizations, family serving agencies and more.
