This Give to the Max Day, Help Every Voice Be Heard
At Opera Reading Project (ORP), we believe the human voice is one of the most powerful tools for connection. Through accessible opera training, performance, and community engagement, we help artists and audiences discover what it means to be fully seen, heard, and inspired.
Founded in 2018, ORP fosters artistry through holistic opera and vocal-arts education, storytelling, and human connection. Guided by our values of intentionality, inclusion, gratitude, and integrated artistry, we reimagine how opera lives, breathes, and belongs to everyone.
Opera Reading Project is a place where:
🎠Generosity of the artistic experience is shared with all.
🎶 Storytelling is enlivened through music.
🌿 Resilience is built through and beyond the creative process.
Help us reach our GTMD Day goal of $5,000!
Public arts funding continues to shrink, but your support keeps opera accessible, equitable, and alive for all.
Each season, your generosity helps ORP:
Support the careers of more than 100 Minnesota artists through paid professional development, training, and performances.
Bring opera into neighborhood spaces, colleges, and senior residences—reaching hundreds across Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
Offer free and low-cost community education classes that make training and performance accessible to all.
Your Give to the Max gift ensures that the next generation of singers and audiences can continue to experience the beauty, generosity, and connection that define the vocal arts
Join Us for La Clemenza di Tito
Mercy. Betrayal. Forgiveness. Experience these timeless themes in Mozart’s La Clemenza di Tito, our final reading of the season.
Sunday, November 23 | 2:00–4:00 p.m. at Minnesota Opera Center
Set in ancient Rome, La Clemenza di Tito tells the story of Emperor Tito, who is loved for his just rule. When betrayed by a close friend, he ultimately chooses forgiveness over revenge—an act of compassion and integrity that feels as urgent today as ever.
🎉 Your ticket includes an afterparty with the cast, staff, and board members of ORP.
