At Northern Clay Center, you can learn to make pottery, stretch your abilities as an artist, or view exhibitions of world-class ceramics.

For almost 25 years, Northern Clay Center has displayed a commitment to our mission—the advancement of the ceramic arts. As part of this mission, we have worked hard to provide hands-on learning opportunities, supportive residencies and fellowships, as well as high-caliber exhibitions of ceramic art to the many who share our passion.

We continue to work closely with the many members of our community—hosting hundreds of adults, kids, and families in our classes and workshops at our facility; reaching thousands of young people in schools and community organizations through residencies, short workshops, and artist demonstrations; providing teaching opportunities and studio facilities to dozens of talented ceramic artists; and introducing clay to hundreds of people ages 55 and over through our ART@HAND Program.

None of our efforts are possible without the very generous support from our members, donors, students, volunteers, visitors, and artists, who buttress the efforts of our staff and board through financial contributions, through volunteering of time, and through the sharing of knowledge and passion for the ceramic arts.
