Support NSO on Give to the Max Day 2023!

The Northern Symphony Orchestra is proud to make memorable musical experiences accessible to audiences and musicians in our community. We keep ticket prices low (and free for ages 18 and under), as well as being one of the few community orchestras that does not collect dues from our musicians.

We are also committed to performing new music for symphony orchestra and works by living composers alongside well-known repertoire for symphony orchestra.

To do this, we rely on contributions for a large portion of our budget, and this is possible thanks to YOUR incredible generosity! Please consider giving to NSO, and donations will be matched up to $1000.

We hope you will also join us for the remaining concerts in our 2023-24 season! The Holiday Concert is on November 18, the Spring Concert is on April 13, and the Summer Concert is on July 3. All performances are at 7:30 pm in the Anoka High School Auditorium.

About NSO:

Now in its 21st season, NSO is a community orchestra serving musicians and audiences in the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities. The orchestra has deep roots in the area's school orchestra programs - many of the founding members were Anoka-Hennepin School District music teachers and former students. NSO first performed in June 2002 as a string chamber orchestra, and the first performance as a full symphony orchestra was held in March 2003.

NSO welcomes adult musicians of all ages and from all walks of life to its roster of over 70 performers. The orchestra performs three or four concerts a year, and enjoys strong community support, with audiences of 300 to more than 500 people, from students to seniors.
