North Shore Area Partners (NSAP) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Silver Bay, MN. We work towards a vision where all elder residents are connected to and supported by our community. We value the dignity and worth of all people, the power of community, and working respectfully and professionally. NSAP supports the independence of those 60+ living in their own homes in the heart of the North Shore, including the communities of Beaver Bay, Silver Bay, Finland, Isabella, and Little Marais. We also offer home care services outside our normal service area—down the shore to Knife River and up the shore to Lutsen.

Since 2003, we have coordinated and provided services that enable elders over age 60 to remain living in their own homes, safely and with dignity in the community they love. Staff and volunteers help all neighborhood elders regardless of their ability to pay. As an Enrolled Provider for Alternative Care and Elderly Waiver, we provide the only access to chore, homemaking, and home health care for many clients in our service area. 

NSAP receives broad and generous support from our community through individual donations. We also receive funds through a variety of other sources, including Federal, State and Local governments and Business and Community Foundations.
