For every $1 received, North Country provides enough food for 4 meals. We distribute more than 7 million pounds of food to agencies that serve, children, senior citizens, and families in need. North Country acquires good quality food and non-food products that have been donated locally and nationwide with the goal of helping people meet basic needs.

Other recipients include low-income individuals in need of supplemental assistance, group homes, senior programs, youth programs, addiction treatment centers and domestic abuse programs.
Many people in northwest and west central Minnesota do not talk openly about hunger. And if they are hungry, they tend to try and suffer through it - often believing other people need help more than they do. It is North Country's belief that nobody in northwest and west central Minnesota should go to bed hungry.
North Country's hunger fighting partners are depending on North Country to provide food for those in need - especially during these difficult economic times.
