Nice Games Alliance

Nice Games Alliance's mission is to instruct, train, and elevate interactive artists and game developers from the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota. Success means the advancement in the general accessibility of resources and careers in the interactive arts, and the promotion of game development (for video games, board and tabletop games, TTRPGs, commercial, experimental, everything!) as an artistic practice.

The programming committee of Nice Games Alliance has also served as the Twin Cities chapter of the International Game Developers Association, aka: IGDATC, for many years. Currently, the organization sponsors and operates 6 monthly and 3 annual community events, all free to attend, for game developers and artists of all sub-disciplines and skill/experience levels. These events including educational presentations, social and networking events, public playtests, game jams, and more.

Donations to Nice Games Alliance helps offset the cost of our events and programming, including volunteer stipends, location rentals, equipment purchases, and digital services, as well as helps fund future projects and events.
