The New London Arts & Culture Alliance Inc

The New London Arts & Culture Alliance was created in 2013 by a group of local artists to build community through the arts. We began by gathering, sharing and imagining. We found that by building connections and relationships, we can inspire collaborations that transform our community.

In 2015, we received an Artplace America grant that helped us to train project leaders within the community to implement different creative projects along our natural waterways and city buildings. These projects animated the Riverspace, which includes a music trail, several sculptures, a public piazza, murals and a performance venue, to name just a few. 

We invite our community to monthly Artlucks, which are potluck gatherings with a focus on the arts. In June, we host an annual Porchfest, which is a wandering opportunity to enjoy performers of all kinds as they share their talents from many porches, decks and patio spaces around town, culminating in a concert at the Bill Gossman Memorial Stage. 

There are many ways that the Arts Alliance (as we are commonly known) is an engine for connection and culture in New London. Your donation will help to fuel the next vibrant project!
