New Spirit United Church of Christ

New   Spirit began life in 1993. We were a traveling congregation without a permanent place to call own own. Meetings were held in homes and a small trailer was   unpacked then repacked each Sunday with the items for worship and church school.   We all prayed for the day when we would have a permanent home, much as our spiritual   ancestors must have prayed for their arrival in the "Promised Land."

We joyfully took up residence at 14394 Quebec Avenue in Savage, MN, after members converted the farmhouse on the location. This was not the first "remodel" that had occurred over the many years. The "original" stone foundation still serves as a storage room.
