Mounds View Schools Education Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Mounds View Schools Education Foundation has a long history of supporting the students in our schools. Founded in 1987 by a committed group of parents and community members, the MVSEF (formerly 621 Foundation) was established with a resolute focus to ensure a quality education experience for students in the Mounds View School District.

For the 2023-24 school year, our foundation is supporting the district's family/community building events in the schools, music instrument program (making band and orchestra participation accessible to all), next generation technology skills in the classroom, career/college post-secondary exploration resources, and the financial management of the Equity Promise Scholarship Program. Notably, these programs demonstrate our continued commitment to the Mounds View School District's promise to ensure an equitable education experience for all students.

Over the last three decades, the MVSEF has established an impactful legacy of philanthropic support for our students.  Our innovative funding of the ACT exam to juniors at no cost, increasing access to school-owned music instruments, supporting distance learning technology needs during the pandemic, improving access to materials in STEAM labs, securing a new StarLab portable planetarium, and supporting Equity Promise Scholarships are a few examples of the initiatives we have previously invested in.

Your support will make a difference in the lives of students throughout all Mounds View Public Schools. Thank you!
