At Ms. Houston's Caring Hands, we believe every child deserves to feel safe, every parent deserves support, and every family deserves an opportunity to thrive.

Established in 2018, Ms. Houston's Caring Hands (MHCHM) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening families, preventing violence, addressing childhood trauma, and creating opportunities for youth and families in Hennepin County and surrounding communities.

Our work focuses on empowering individuals and families through mentorship, parent and caregiver education, housing stability support, essential resources, community engagement, and violence prevention awareness.

Our Commitment to Girls and Young Women

We are preparing to launch GEMS (Girls Empowered through Mentorship & Support), a 12-week mentorship program designed for girls ages 13–17.

Through positive mentorship, confidence-building activities, personal development, and meaningful connections, GEMS will provide a supportive environment where girls can discover their strengths, recognize their worth, and build brighter futures.
