"While involved in FFA, I learned many different skills from completing accurate and through applications to networking and communicating with others. The biggest skill or lesson learned while involved with FFA is the importance to share our stories and lessons learned with others. There are so many misconceptions spread about agriculture and how our food is grown, it is our job to share our story to help shed positive light on agriculture.   I believe it is important to invest in the future. I hope that through my contributions, I can foster the next generation of agriculturists for our state and nation.  As Thomas Jefferson said, “Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness.”
