Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute

The Minnesota Psychoanalytic Society and Institute (MPSI) provides psychoanalytically informed educational services to the community at large, the professional community, and our own members through programs that are offered throughout the year.

MPSI is also committed to offering services to the broader community. MPSI believes that the kind of insight afforded by psychoanalysis can benefit the community in many ways, especially as people strive to reflect on their inner and outer worlds, and make changes in both.

The MPSI Psychotherapy Center offers low-fee, long term psychotherapy to underserved populations, who are either without health insurance or unable to utilize their health insurance due to financial constraints. 

MPSI offers training to clinicians who wish to deepen their understanding and connection to psychoanalytically informed educational services through our Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Training Program (PPTP).
