The Minnesota PKU Foundation raises money and awareness of PKU in order to support research for a cure and support PKU families in Minnesota

A largely silent disorder which is mostly detected through Newborn Screening in modern times.  Although this disorder is largely controlled through a very strict diet and supplements, the childern and adults in the PKU community continue to work through many side effects and families and friends of the community seek better treatments and a cure for this genetic disorder.

The Minnesota PKU Foundation supports families of Minnesota as they work through the day to day struggles of maintaining an unforgiving diet and lifestyle.  The Minnesota PKU Foundation has teamed with the NPKUA to support research into new treatments, devices, and the search for a cure for PKU.
