Minnesota Aviation Career Education Camp

A nonprofit organization

Minnesota Aviation Career Education Camp is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to connecting students with the opportunity to explore a wide variety of aviation career fields and interests. We believe that cost should not prevent students from having exploratory educational experiences. 100% of all donations received will be put towards scholarships for students to attend camp and help further their education in aviation.

Minnesota Aviation Career Education Camp (MN ACE Camp) was founded in 1991 with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) to promote, educate and expose high school students to a wide variety of aviation careers. Each summer 90 students take part in a week-long, residential camp offering exclusive access to all things aviation.

During the course of our week, students receive a full-access pass to the aviation community of the Minneapolis-St. Paul Metropolitan area. Some activities include the Delta Air Line's 'Below the Wing' tour where students shadow employees on the ramp during a working flight, a visit to Minneapolis Air Traffic Control Tower, 'A Day in the Life' experience at an airlines flight attendant training facility and the opportunity to pilot multiple aircraft with FAA Certified Flight Instructors including gliders, helicopters, general aviation training aircraft, a special full-motion airline simulator and more. Please download our sample schedule for the complete list of camp activities.

Over the last 30 years, more than 1000 students have graduated from camp, many of whom are now industry leaders, professionals, counselors, and volunteers. Thanks to the support of our local aviation community, donors, and countless volunteers MN ACE Camp has become one of the most successful and recognized non-profit aviation camps in the country.
