Our Community Outreach Team is getting dramatic results;

Can you help us open our youth empowerment center?

Since Minnesota Acts Now launched a project in Brooklyn Park based using a prevention approach, crime has fallen dramatically in our focus area at 63rd and Zane Avenues.

"Minnesota Acts Now has been one of the most meaningful and impactful changes that this community has ever seen, Brooklyn Park Police Inspector Elliot Faust told KSTP (11/3/22). "That's not to be taken lightly. I don't say that about any other intervention that we've ever done before."

The graph below shows crime reports in the area. Minnesota Acts Now started started working at the intersection in September 2021. Now the  formerly dangerous area has become a welcoming place to shop.

Minnesota Acts Now needs your support to open a youth empowerment center in a recently-purchased building at 63rd and Zane Avenues. Can you help? Our goal is to raise $150,000 by Dec. 31. You can start with a donation on Give to the Max Day.

Minnesota Acts Now is a non-profit organization, here exclusively for charitable, advocacy and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our goals are to fight against gun violence, homelessness, poverty and to become a leader in promoting self-sufficiency for all citizens in the state of Minnesota. We serve under-represented individuals in the judicial system to advocate sentencing that will foster rehabilitation, and productive contribution to the community. We provide education and mentoring services to improve individual lives and to foster positive contributions to the community.
