We all want to feel connected to the causes we support financially. We want to actually know the people who make decisions with the money we give.   

It’s hard to be confident that a small financial gift can have an impact. And for it to truly be a gift, we need to let go of control and expectations – and the thought of getting something in return (including a tax receipt). We want more than charity. We want connection.

We’ve been there. That is why we believe that when we connect people to a local cause and their leaders, we are embracing a genuine kind of generosity.

At the Midtown Community, we stand with and celebrate the Heroes that make all this happen. From the courageous leaders starting new organizations to the participants who offer ideas and connections, the Friendraiser movement shows no signs of slowing down.
