For 2023 Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca (Mexico Azteca Inc) will celebrate 13 years of enriching  all communities with the beauty and energy of Mexican Arts through Folk Dance . Our Teacher/Founder/Artistic Director Edgar Galvan has choreograph over 100 dances that bright and delight the beauty of all cultural influences that Mexico has.

Now we are waiting to present at stage once again under Edgar's Galvan direction. Ballet Folklorico Mexico Azteca is beloved for its artistry and ability to captivate audiences. For 14 years, the company has presented dances reflecting the cultural traditions of Mexico, featuring authentic music and costumes that bring audiences to their feet. The performances draw upon pre-Hispanic rituals as well as folk stories brought to life with the exquisite music from “Nimbes de Xalapa” directly from Mexico. That is why our GiveMN campaign will center on getting another project for Noche de Gala XV into more theaters throughout the United States. In May 2024, we plan to perform Noche de Gala XV to the Minnesota communities.

Our goal is to raise $20,000 for

• Artist fees
• Live Music by Nimbes de Xalapa, directly from Veracruz, Mexico for the performance showcase
• Marketing materials
• Travel expenses for 2 teachers coming from Mexico City and 3 from Chicago, IL.
• Rehearsal rental fees

Your support is very significant to our success as much of our existing funding is project-specific or cannot be spent on activities outside of Minnesota. Currently, we have a $2,000 matching gift from our private donor.
