Shine in the World Ministries

The nations need hope. At a time like this where there is crisis after crisis, the world all around us is searching for hope, for meaning and purpose. Masses of people in cities close and far are hungry to know that God loves them. To know that He cares for their souls. The gospel of Christ provides the only eternal solution. 

The churches are ready. During the month of July, in the city of Nampula, Mozambique, we documented 97,667 new believers through our partnership with local churches during the Shine Nampula mission. Hundreds of thousands more were exposed to the good news of Jesus! Night after night, we witnessed many individuals shed tears of joy as they encountered Jesus for the first time. At the end of the mission, 80% of this Muslim city's population heard the gospel of Christ and 10% responded to receive Christ! 

We're ready for more! We are excited for what God has ahead of us for 2024. We are convinced that God wants to do much more and are praying for the transformation of entire nations and cities. Efforts are underway in the Twin Cities to share the gospel, as well as in Ethiopia and Iraq. We are eager to witness what God will do with these efforts in the coming weeks and months in transforming lives! 

The nations are ready for the Gospel. Jesus said to His disciples “Wake up and look around. The fields are already ripe for harvest …” (John 4:35). The Twin Cities are a ripe harvest field and Jesus’ command still remains: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations.”
