MacRostie Art Center

MacRostie Art Center is a hub for the creative community in the Grand Rapids area. We've been presenting exhibits, teaching classes, and selling local art in our downtown location for over 25 years.  

In 2024 we have been working on upgrades to our pottery studio, a busy place that welcomes dozens of kids and adults each year for classes, hosts a weekly "open pottery" session, and is also home to a number of ceramic artists who rent space monthly.

We have received a matching grant from Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation to replace old equipment and upgrade tools, and we need our community's help to meet the match. Since June 2024 we've raised over $5,000 and have just $1,500 more to reach our goal.

The pottery studio at MAC is just one of the great things going on in our local arts community. We're excited about the new year ahead and the opportunity to explore more ways we can celebrate creativity, help artists succeed, and contribute to community growth through the arts.
