Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving life in Lynnhurst neighborhood. We work to engage residents in numerous ways (events, communications, city issues, service projects, school/park support, safety, the environment etc.) which directly impacts the quality of life for residents, visitors and surrounding neighborhoods. Lynnhurst works to keep residents informed by sending a quarterly newsletter to each home and delivering a welcome bag to new residents. We also send e news and do social media updates throughout the year. Lynnhurst works to build community by hosting summer events such as ice cream socials, our annual Lynnhurst Summer Festival, neighborhood happy hours, and voter forums. We work to improve the space around us by offering façade grants to help businesses improve their outside appearance. We offer security rebates for residents that want to add or enhance a home security system helping to keep us all safe. We serve as a bridge between the city and residents about road construction, new developments, and other issues. Our Environmental Committee is active in helping us protect our naturalized areas by helping neighbors create rain gardens with Yards to Garden grants, organize groups to fight invasive species, providing educational events and much more. All of this cannot be done without the help of gifts from our neighbors to support our work. The city has recently cut the amount of funding to neighborhoods, so support is needed to keep all of these programs running. Please consider making Lynnhurst Neighborhood Association a part of your give to the Max Day giving. Together we can keep making Lynnhurst a better place we can all enjoy.
