Thanks to our mighty volunteers, from registering voters to get-out-the-vote efforts, the League of Women Voters Minneapolis played a critical role engaging citizens and mobilizing them to vote this year. We're especially proud of our West Broadway billboard and our targeted messages that build trust in the election system by showing that election judges are our neighbors.
Help us not only maintain, but to expand our work by making a contribution today. In the words of the late Sen. John Lewis at the signing of the Voting Rights Act: "The vote is precious. It is almost sacred. It's the most powerful non-violent tool we have in a democratic society, and we've got to use it!"
For more than one hundred years, the League of Women Voters of Minneapolis has worked to increase understanding of major policy issues and to influence public policy through education and advocacy. We are non-partisan and do not support or oppose any political party or candidate.
