MISSION: 

We are a 501c3 non-profit, with a mission of preventing suicide by creating quality connections through everyday conversations about mental health, by way of programs and partnerships.

VISION:  

#LIVIN to be a universally recognized movement that promotes a world that is just as comfortable talking about mental health as it is about the weather.

Below are our programs and ways in which your generous donations help so many:

LivinConnected: We just launched a new mental health connector platform with a human touch, called LivinConnected! This platform connects people to mental health resources and support, while also offering an innovative peer to peer connection through our community chat and Share My Story section. Annual Camp LIVIN: For every $1,500 raised, we can send an ENTIRE family to Camp LIVIN. Established in 2019, this is a weekend retreat for families that have lost someone to suicide.

Annual LIVIN Music Festival: It's not just a music festival, it's #LIVIN! A weekend long music festival filled with camping, music. food, kids activities, BBQ competition, corn hole and conversations around the bonfire. We also have an inspirational program with community coming together! All in the name of mental health and suicide prevention. 

Individual and Family Financial Grant Assistance: The LIVIN Foundation has established a program to provide HELP and HOPE to people in need within our community. Individuals can apply year-round, with money being awarded annually. Money awarded is sent directly to a vendor to assist with a specific mental health need (household expenses, medical bills or funeral expenses) as a few examples. 

Mental Health Education & Training (QPR): Quarterly QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) trainings are held free of charge to anyone that would like to attend. These trainings provide a certification and education so that people are equipped with how to respond to and help a friend or loved one with their own mental health struggles, specifically in a crisis. 

Speaking Engagements: We attend several speaking engagements at schools within the metro area, as well as at businesses and clubs. Your support will help us continue to purchase marketing and educational materials to bring to these speaking engagements. The attendees are then able to take a bracelet, post card and/or #LIVIN decal sticker home with them - they are then able to spread the #LIVIN movement to many, many more!
