After a passionate, beautiful, and challenging 3-year journey, Link is just days away from opening our doors to an AMAZING founding class of students who are poised to transform the Twin Cities and build a radically inclusive, diverse-by-design, achievement-focused middle and high school. 

The need for high-quality secondary public schools in and around the Twin Cities cannot be understated. Link Public Schools is a comprehensive and nationally proven set of approaches that will create excellent local educational opportunities for students across the Twin Cities. 

Our founding responds to the reality that although some Minnesotans have prided themselves regarding past statewide education outcomes, these stories veil some deeply inequitable realities. Minnesota has the lowest graduation rate in the United States for students of color, schools are more segregated now than they were when Brown v. Board of Education was decided in 1954, and outcomes are significantly correlated with income and race.

Link Public Schools boldly states that we have a new, essential vision for a homegrown Twin Cities public charter school network that has not been attempted to date. Link is committed to learning lessons from previous challenges and failures to ensure success. Not only will Link create excellent plans that leverage best practices nationally but we will focus intently on disciplined execution of those visions, systems, and plans from Day 1 through Year 10. Our school communities are vital to the students who will attend, the families who will place their trust in us, and Minnesota as a whole due to the positive future impact of our dynamic graduates and dramatically different story that high-performing diverse schools can tell within our state and country.
